Evelyn Alice THOMPSON Davis was born into a linage of hardworking pioneers and frontiersmen: the Thompson's, the Hallman's, the Neith's, the Holston's, the Cumming's, the Armstrong's, the Austin's, the Clower's and the Heller's. Evelyn Alice Thompson was the youngest of Bert Thompson's kids, born at a time where the deaths of these pioneers were yesterday's news. Searching out books and articles Evelyn learned the stories of those that settled the fertile farmland of Iowa. They are gone now but she shares those stories and these names from a keen memory and intellect. These are her people.
