Henry F. Bartosh, 67, of Emmetsburg, died Wednesday morning, June 23, at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Mason City. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 26, at Assumption Catholic Church, Emmetsburg, with burial in St. John's Cemetery. Military graveside rites were conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2295.
Surviving are his wife, Helen; a daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Rose Ann) Molloy, Rochester, Minn.; a step-daughter, Mrs. Donald (Patricia) Kauffman, Emmetsburg; 10 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; brothers, James and Ben Bartosh, Pocahontas.
Mr. Bartosh was born in Pocahontas County and married Alice Neary in 1940 in Spirit Lake. They farmed in Pocahontas County until the 1960's when they moved to Emmetsburg. He was then employed by Pamline Co., and was later a custodian for the community schools. He retired in 1978. Mrs. Bartosh died in 1974. The following year he married Helen Domek.
He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
