Jess Burton, 81 Died Friday
 Jess B. Burton, 81, 314 Mamie Eisenhower avenue, died Friday, Feb. 11, at the Veterans Hospital in Des Moines. He was a retired farmer.  He was born March 7, 1891 at Jewell, the son of Ben and Melissa (Jones) Burton. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Emma, in 1959, and a grandson in 19[ ] . He was a member of Arthur D. Lan[ ] Post. No. [ ] American Legion.
 Survivors include three sons, Paul of Columbia, N. C., Keith of Perry and Jess of Boone, five daughters, Mrs. Eldon (Marie) Wisecup, West Des Moines, Mrs. Harry (Maxine) Adams, Escondido, Calif., Mrs. James (Hazel) Williams, Boone, Mrs. Kenneth (Esther) Toepfer, Perry, and Mrs. Frank (Faye) Fields, [Bloomington, M- -]; two brothers, Leonard Burton, Cambridge, Wash. and Vern Burton, Ft. Dodge, one sister, Mrs. Edwin W [ ], Boone; [23] grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
