  CARVER Charles Allen, age 87, of 348 Mohawk Ave. NW, passed away Monday morning in his home following an extended illness. A native of Manson, IA, he had resided in Canton for the past 23 years. He was employed by the Hall of Fame Bowling Lames until illness forced his retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife, Celia, in 1981, and a son, Charles J., in 1967. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Rose M. Butler of Marshalltown, IA; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
