Fred Carpenter Dies In Minn.
 Stratford Special - Fred Carpenter, 69, a former Stratford resident, died Friday, Oct. 26, at Princeton, Minn. following a lingering illness.
 He is survived by his widow, Clara, a sister, Mrs. Edna Flowers of Webster City, and a brother, Clarence of Dayton, Iowa.
 Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 30, at the Foster Funeral home in Webster City, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Harold [Clive] of the Calvary Methodist church of Stratford in charge. Burial will be at the Graceland cemetery at Webster City.
