NAME: Chamra, Anna

 It was a sad blow which struck the Vencel Chamra home in southeast Otter Creek, Tuesday, when the body of the 18 years old daughter Anna was discovered lying head downward in an old well on the farm. She had disappeared Monday and an anxious search was kept up Monday night for her. It was later found that she had drank carbolic acid before leaping into the well. There are rumors of an unrequited love affair but such are only rumors. In some way the young lady became temporarily deranged and the terrible deed was done. The body was laid at rest yesterday in the Stayskal cemetery.
