MRS. LANE IS SUMMONED AT SISTER'S HOME
 Mrs. Mary Lane, 40 years of age and a well known resident of the Waterman Community died yesterday morning at 10:15 o'clock at the home of her sister, Mrs. John B. Newman at Cherry Valley. Mrs. Lane had been in poor health for some time and had been receiving care at her sister's home.
 Born in Waterman on November 22, 1903, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Comp of Rockford, she spent many of her years in the Waterman commmunity where she was well known.
 Her passing is mourned by one son, Everett Lane, Jr., and a daughter, Mrs. Ralph Stryker, both residents of Waterman. One son passed away in infancy. There are also surviving three grandchildren, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Comp, four sisters, Mrs. Edna Colvin of Rockford, Mrs. Frank Higgins of Rockford, Mrs. John Newman of Cherry Valley and Mrs. Eric Walton of Peoria and one brother, George, who is in the service and is stationed in Atlanta, Ga.
 Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning from St. Peter's church in Rockford at 10:30 o'clock and burial will be in the Rose Hill cemetery at Shabbona. The rosary will be said at 8:00 o'clock this evening at the Newman home in Cherry Valley.
