ERMA AZALIA SCOTT
Erma Azalia Scott, 84, died June 5, 1998, at the Powell Nursing Home after fighting Parkinson's disease for many years.
She was born Oct. 29, 1913, in Wisconsin, the daughter of Morgan Francis and Stella Mae Brown Cornwell. She married Alfred Kenneth Scott on Sept. 1, 1934, in Red Lodge.
Mrs. Scott was a resident of the Cody-Powell area for 35 years. She was a member of the Church of God of prophecy.
She enjoyed cooking and, due to her health, she worked at puzzles to keep her hands and fingers agile.
Survivors include daughters Donna Davis of Powell and Claudia Lake of Gillette, seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, sons Kenneth and Daniel Scott, her parents, five brothers and one sister.
Graveside services were Monday at Riverside Cemetery.
