NAME: Cox, Floyd Ronald (m. 1w Juanita, 2w Eunice, 3w Gay)
Floyd R. Cox, 66, 1222 Ave. A, Rochelle, died Friday in Rochelle Community Hospital.
He was born on Aug. 19, 1922 in Wheaton, the son of Floyd and Janette Dille Cox.
He was a truck driver and the owner and operator of Floyd's Place Bar and Rstaurant, and was a member of the Royal Order of the Moose.
Survivors include his companion Gay Cox; one son, Ron of Oregon; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Jan Jolene) Barkus of Houston, Tex.; and Mrs. John (Eunice) Bailey of Los Angeles, Calif., one sister, Dora Karwoski of Wheaton; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Unger-Horner Funeral Home, Rochelle, with the Rev. Kay Dillard officiating.
Visitation is tonight from 7-9 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial is in Trinity Memory Gardens, Rochelle and memorials to Rochelle Community Hospital.
