FREDERICK COX PASSES AWAY
 Frederick Cox of Detroit a former resident of this community, died on Wednesday, August 22, 1951. He had been employed by the Swift Company for 28 years, and was stricken while at work Wednesday.
 He was born February 27, 1905, the son of George and Ellen Cox of rural Shabbona. He was married to Faye Quinn of Rollo June 23, 1934.
 Surviving are his wife; two sons, Frederick, 9, and George, 7; his mother; five brothers, George, Merle, Vincent, Charles and Harold; and two sisters, Frances and Regina.
 The body was brought to the Thorsen Funeral home on August 24th. Funeral services were conducted at the St. James Church in Lee on Monday morning at 9:30. Interment was in St. James Cemetery.
