 Mr. Jonathan W. Cox, who had been ill for more than a year died at his home east of the village on Tuesday evening, April 14, 1908, at 7:00 p.m.
 Mr. Cox was born in Victor Twp., DeKalb County, IL on June 4, 1868 and lived with his parents till he was married to Miss Caroline Passow of Somonauk IL, on Oct. 4, 1893. They made their home in Victor ..st of Somonauk for about eight years and then moved to ... farm in this twp. where he resided till his death. He leaves to mourn his wife and father, three brothers and four sisters.
 Funeral services will be held at the house this morning at 10 a.m., Rev. Davies of the Congregational church officiating and the church quartette furnishing appropriate music. The remains will then be taken to Oak Ridge Cem. near Sandwich for burial in the family plot where his mother, who preceded him, lies buried. A short service will be held at the grave. Rev. Davies speaking and the quartette will sing two hymns and the friends will be permitted to take the last look at the departed.
