NAME: Cox, Mary Angelina "Lena" (m. William E. Near)

 Mrs. William Near, age 88, died Sunday morning in KSB Hospital, following a long illness.
 She was born Mar. 21, 1876, in Utica, New York, the daughter of Thomas and Mary Bloodworth Cox. She married William Near Jan. 17, 1900 in Sycamore, Ill.
 Mrs. Near was preceded in death by her husband and three brothers.
 Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Roy Conibear, Lee Center; a son, Kenneth, Franklin Grove - 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
 Funeral services will be held Wed. at 2 p.m. in the Hicks Funeral home, Franklin Grove with the Rev. Richard Kennedy of the First Congregational Church officiating. Burial will be in the English Cemetery, Shabbona, Ill.
 Friends may call at the Hicks Funeral Home from 7-9 Tuesday.
