Maude Cox Funeral Services Held Here Saturday Afternoon
 Death came last Thursday, November 15 to Miss Maude Cox, a long time resident, of Manson, and Calhoun county.
 Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the home of Mrs. S. R. Williams with the Rev. Jos. Pickersgill, pastor of the Methodist church conducting the service. The Williams Funeral home officiated. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery at Manson.
 Mrs. Pearl Freeman and Miss Florence Kolp sang "The Old Rugged Cross," "Sweet Bye and Bye," with Mrs. Nelson Hyde at the piano. The flower arrangement was in charge of Mrs. S. R. Williams and Mrs. Andy Bacon.
 Pallbearers were Ellis Williams, Roy Negley, Will Dawson, Raymond Gingerich, Matt and Joe Tiernan.
 Miss Cox, the daughter of Henry and Elisy Cox, was born on a farm near Manson on August 15, 1881. After the death of her father, she with her mother and brothers moved to Manson in the year 1917.
 She was a member of the Methodist church and was quite active in church work until her health failed.
 She leaves to mourn her passing two sisters, Mrs. Kate Clapsaddle and Mrs. Mary Smith of Sioux Falls, S. D.; four brothers, George of Letcher, S.D., Charles of Cherokee, Peter and Harry of Manson.
