VINCENT J. COX
 Vincent J. Cox, 93, of Shabbona, Ill., died Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at the Shabbona Healthcare Center.
 Born July 19, 1913, in Shabbona, he was the son of George Cox Sr. and Ellen (Dugan) Cox.
 Vincent was a farmer. He was a lifelong member of the St. James Catholic Church of Lee, the Knights of Columbus of DeKalb and the Elks Club in Mendota. He was a former trustee and treasurer of the Shabbona Fire Department, was a former Shabbona Township tax assessor and was a member of the Shabbona-Lee-Rollo Historical Society. Vincent also was a regular with the Shabbona Elevator coffee crowd.
 He is survived by a sister, Regina "Jean" (Bill) Knight of Peoria; seven nephews, Rick, George, John, Jim, Mike and Pat Cox and Tom Knight; two nieces, March McGuire and Colleen Frye; and several great-nieces and -nephews.
 He was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Follin and infant sister Mary, and five brothers, Fred, George, Meryl, Charles and Harold.
 The funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 2, at St. James Catholic Church in Lee. burial will be at St. James Calvary Cemetery in Lee. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, July 1, at Jacobson Funeral Home in Shabbona, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
 Memorial offerings can be directed to St. James Church, DeKalb County Hospice or the American Heart Association.
 Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Jacobson Funeral Home, 303 N. Illiniois St. in Shabbona.

 Vincent J. Cox, 93, of Shabbona, IL, died Tuesday, June 26 at the Shabbona Nursing Home. He was born July 19, 1913 in Shabbona, where he lived and farmed his entire life. Visitation is Sunday, July 1, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Jacobson Funeral Home in Shabbona. Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2007, at the St. James Catholic Church in Lee, IL, with burial at St. James Calvary Cemetery.
