Clifford Cozad
 MUSCATINE - Clifford W. Cozad, 75, of 114 Sherman St., died Thursday, Nov. 19, 1998, at Muscatine General Hospital.
 Services will be 1:30 p.m. on Monday at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Rev. Shirley Rozendaal of the Musserville United Methodist Church will officiate. Pallbearers will be Verl Holtz, Harold Marx, Bob Reynolds, Walt Ryder, Dr. Eugene Shay, and Denny Dieckman. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery with a Military Service provided by the combined squads of the American Legion and the V.F.W.
 Visitation will be from 2 - 6 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
 Mr. Cozad was born on Sept. 27, 1923, in Muscatine, the son of George E. and Dorothy L. Downey Cozad. He married Velma A. Connor on Feb. 26, 1944, in Baltimore, Maryland.
 He served in the US Navy during World War Two in the Pacific Theater.
 He worked for alcoa for 33 years, retiring in 1989.
 He was a member of the V.F.W., the Moose Lodge No. 388, and the alcoa Retired Club.
 Survivors include his wife, Velma Cozad of Muscatine; three sons, Ron Cozad and his wife, Peggy of Muscatine; Dennis Cozad and his wife, Barbara of Wichita, Kan.; and Gary Cozad and his wife, Trena of Little Rock, Ark; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and three sisters, Colleen LaRue, Corrine Marx and Florine Ramer, all of Muscatine.
 He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert M. Cozad.
