Harry Cozad
Harry H. Cozad, 82, of 811 E. Fifth St., died early today, Wednesday, April 7, 1993, at Muscatine General Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. The Rev. Terry Plocher will officiate. Pat Dilts will be organist. Pallbearers will be Wayne Wachs, Craig Wachs, Brian Wachs, Harry Herlein, Steve Herlein and Harry Etter Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Herlein Jr. and Robert Jarr. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Mr. Cozad was born Nov. 19, 1910, at Cambridge, Ill., a son of Sydney and Della May Coulter Cozad. He had lived here for most of his life. On Jan. 16, 1934, he married Anna Arnold in Muscatine.
He had previously attended the Musserville United Methodist Church.
He had worked as a machine operator for Kent Feed for 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, Anna; one son, Douglas A. Cozad of Muscatine; five daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Beverly) Herlein of Atalissa, Mrs. Wayne (Beatrice) Wachs of La Salle, Ill., and Cheryl Cozad, Linda Cozad and Sandra Cozad, all of Muscatine; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and one sister, Birdie E. Burzell of Muscatine.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
