HARRY DAYTON, AGE 81, DIES
Funeral Services Pending For Long Time Local Resident.
  Harry Dayton, 81, died Wednesday morning at the Cherokee hospital, where he had been a patient for several months.  Surviving are his wife and four daughters, Mrs. Sears Wells, Mrs. Henry Canfield, Mrs. A.R. Goodrich, Mrs. Veda Harris, all of Webster city, and one son, Charles of Fort Leonard Wood, MO. There are also 12 grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are pending; Foster's in charge.

DAYTON SERVICES TO BE SATURDAY AT FUNERAL HOME
 Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Foster Funeral home for Harry M. Dayton, 81, long time local resident who died Wednesday morning at the Cherokee hospital where he had been a patient for several months.
 The Rev. Paul Madden, pastor of the Nazarene church, will officiate and burial will be in the Graceland cemetery.
 Son of Hiram and Frances Dayton, Harry M. Dayton was born Nov. 16, 1861, at Alma, Iowa. The family lived for a number of years in California, returning to Iowa later, to the vicinity of Lehigh.
 Dec. 24, 1887 Mr. Dayton was married to Clara K. Dingman. Besides his wife, four daughters and one son survive: Mrs. Sears Wells, Mrs. Henry Canfield, Mrs. A.R.Goodrich and Mrs. Veda Harris, all of Webster City and Charles of Fort Leonard Wood, MO. There are also 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
 Two brothers, Frank and Charley, live at Fort Dodge, and a sister, Mrs. Inez Bond, in Minneapolis. Mr. Dayton was preceded in death by two children, one brother and three sisters.
