 Viola M. Doolittle, 77, Bethany, Mo., died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2003 at a Bethany, Mo. nursing home.
 She was born March 23, 1926 in Webster City, Iowa, the daughter of James William and Ethel VandeVenter Dingman. She was married to George Artie Doolittle. He preceded her in death. She was a homemaker.
 Survivors include three daughters, Joyce Russell, Bethany, Mo., Tina Bennett, Bethany, Mo., Arlene Anderson, Fort Dodge; three sons, Billy Doolittle, Virginia, Frank Doolittle, Edinburg, Mo., Truman Doolittle, Ridgeway, Mo.; three brothers, Gary Dingman, Dwayne Dingman, and Mavis Kleckman, all of Webster City; two sisters, Lila Mix of Colorado, and Belva Neubauer, Webster City; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
 The body has been cremated under the direction of the Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany, Mo. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date and there is no scheduled family visitation. Burial will be in the Cass Township Cemetery, Webster City.
