 Mrs. Fleeta Fern Davis, of 933 West Third Street, Waterloo, Iowa, died Tuesday, 20 April 1948 in her home at 11:30 a.m. of carcinoma. She had been in failing health since last September.
 Born 19 January 1897, in Franklin County, Iowa, she was the daughter of Robert D. and Minnie J. (Harlan) Miller. On 22 January 1914 she was married to Fred Nelson Davis at Aredale, Iowa. They were later divorced.
 Mrs. Davis has been a resident of Waterloo, Iowa since 1929 and is survived by her mother, Mrs. Minnie J. Miller, also of 933 West Third Street, Waterloo, Iowa; a son Vern R. Davis, 227 Courtland Street, and a grandson, Robert Vern, 227 Courtland Street.
 She was preceeded in death by her father, Robert D. Miller.
 The body was taken to Locke Funeral Home.
