 Lee Center - Esther M. Conibear 87, 1118 Inlet Rd. died Monday Oct. 8, 1990 in KSB Hospital Dixon, Ill. following a long illness. She taught at the Binghamton Show Station and Inlet Schools, and also owned and operated with her husband, Conibear Electric in Amboy for 30 years, prior to retirement in 1964.
 She was born in Oct. 2, 1903 in DeKalb County to William and Lena (Cox) Near. She married Roy B. Conibear Oct. 2, 1926 in Princeton.
 She was a member of the First Congregational Unity Church of Christ, Lee Center; charter member of the Lee Center unit; cooperative extension; Lee Center Rebekah Lodge; and Juanita Chapter no. 391 O.E.S., Lee Center.
 She was preceded in death by one brother. Survivors include her husband of Lee Center, son Bruce of Peoria, Illinois; daughter Rosemary Pomeroy of Phoenix, Arizona - 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
 The funeral is at 11 a.m. Friday in Mikm-Jones funeral home, Amboy, Illinois with Rev. Tom Maltz-Hahmann, Rector of the First Congregational United Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery. Visitation 7-9 Thursday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the church.
