JAMES S. THOMPSON FUNERAL MONDAY A.M.
 James S. Thompson, 88, died June 25 at his home, 313 No. Commercial following a years illness.
 Funeral services were held at the Sandvig Funeral Home Monday morning at 10:00 with the Rev. Lyle Bartlett, pastor of the Park Church of Christ officiating. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery, Rock Rapids.
 Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife, three children, Mrs. Helen Reagans, Gerald Thompson, San Diego, Calif. and Joe Thompson of Goldfield also five step-children, Miss Evelyn Dingman and Allie Dingman of Eagle Grove; Wm. H. Dingman of Minneapolis,; Mrs. Gladys Middleton and (Mrs.) Albert Middleton of Webster City.
 Mr. Thompson formerly lived in Webster City and moved here about eight years ago.
