HOWARD VAN AUKEN
 COLUMBUS JUNCTION - Services for Howard "Pappy" Van Auken, 72, were held Monday afternoon at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home.
 Rev. Clyde Hartman officiated. Donna Belle Hughes was the organist.
 Pallbearers were Sam Sands, Paul Bailey, Richard Clevenger, Lonnie Ridenour, Jack Swain and Dale Powers.
 Burial was in the Columbus City Cemetery.
 Mr. Van Auken died Friday afternoon at University Hospitals, Iowa City.
