 POCAHONTAS - Joseph Wolf, 92, well known resident of Pocahontas, died very suddenly Thursday afternoon at his farm home where he had resided 63 years. He and Mrs. Wolf, who is 91, celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary in February.
 Funeral services are planned for Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul's Catholic church here with the Rev. Gabriel Barry reading the requiem mass. Interment will be in Calvary cemetery with the Rudolph and McIntire funeral home in charge.
 Mr. Wolf was born at Chelsea in Tama county on March 19, 1859. He married Josephine Anderley at Tama on Feb. 3, 1879, and they resided there until 1888 when they moved to Pocahontas.
 Besides his wife, Mr. Wolf is survived by five sons, Louis and George, who live at home, Charles, Albert and William. All of the sons reside within 10 miles in Pocahontas county. Other survivors are 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and one brother, Frank, 91, living at Chelsea.
 Mr. Wolf was preceded in death by two daughters, Mayme and Julia, and by one sister, Mrs. Mary Schroeder of Pocahontas, who died last year at the age of 92 also.
